By accessing or using DuoCents ("Service"), operated by DuoCents Co. ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

DuoCents is a personal finance management platform that enables households and couples to collaboratively track expenses, manage shared budgets, monitor savings goals, and import bank transactions via email alert forwarding. The Service is provided on a subscription basis via web and mobile applications.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid Google account via OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary to keep it accurate. You must notify us immediately at support@duocents.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all financial data you enter into the Service, including transaction records, budget figures, and account information. We do not verify the accuracy of your financial data.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload, transmit, or store any content that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our express written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying systems
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these acceptable use provisions.

Certain features of the Service may be available only to subscribers on a paid plan. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and plan details are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time, with notice provided at least 30 days in advance of any price increase for existing subscribers.

If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier (if available) or be deactivated.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and source code — are and will remain the exclusive property of DuoCents Co. and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all financial data and content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

DuoCents is a financial tracking tool and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making any financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DuoCents Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@duocents.com. Upon account termination, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention requirements.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DuoCents Co. is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
